Gathering on the Green

On Saturday, June 3rd Wesley-Knox will have a table set up in the Kid’s area for The Gathering on the Green. Would you be able to spend just a few hours helping kids have a wonderful day? It's also a great way to get to meet parents and grandparents and give the Church a friendly and welcoming presence! We are planning in our area children’s games like lawn bowling, and other outside games that can help kids enjoy the event. We need your help, contact Rev. Rob or Julie Smith.

Roses for Children

On Sunday Feb 25, the tradition to place a rose to acknowledge the birth of a child in our congregation was restarted. This was a practice at Wesley-Knox for many years. Following difficult times- “COVID” and “Managing without having our own Minister”, this would be a good time to pick up a positive tradition. Recently, a wish was expressed by a church member to recognize babies born during “COVID” To that end, on Mothers Day , May 14 children/grandchildren/great grandchildren born between March 2020 and March 2023 will be recognized. Reverend Rob will state the names and birthdates, and a rose will be given for each child. In order to participate, please  call or e-mail the church office with the name, date of birth, and baby’s relationship.
