DROP IN Iridesce: The Living Apology Project and Pride Month Celebration

July 14, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Iridesce: The Living Apology Project and Pride Month Celebrations

As faith communities we seek to widen our welcome, and live out faithfully all that God calls us to be and do in our communities and in the world. Wesley-Knox United Church invites you to a self-guided meditative walk through the historical 1988 decision when all people, regardless of sexual orientation, were welcomed to become full members of the church. Hear stories from the time leading up to,during, and after 1988 and offer your own stories as you feel called. Be a part of the conversation as we continue to listen and learn about what it means to live as a welcoming, affirming and thriving church.

Doors open between 1 pm and 6 pm on Sunday July 14 and 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm Tuesday July 16. Feel free to drop in during these times for a self guided walk. Iridesce staff will be on sight for conversation and questions.

Location: 91 Askin Street, London, ON.
