Palm “Parade” #1
March 27 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
#1 is at 10 am – #2 is at 1 pm.
***We are not actually “parading” due to the pandemic. You and your family will stay stationary in your spot along the Theresa Street sidewalk, waving your home-made palms etc, while the videographer is the one who will move past the lineup while recording.***
Palm Parade recording:
For Palm Sunday (March 28) we will be recording a “Palm Parade”. Join us outside on Saturday March 27 for recording of a video.
You can either come out at 10 am OR 1 pm Saturday, March 27.
Line up along the Theresa Street sidewalk at 6 ft./2m. social-distancing
increments, to wave your homemade palm branches and/or noise makers if
you have some and shout: “Hosanna!” or “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” or “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”. You will remain in place as John parades by while recording. (Mask wearing while outside is your personal choice).
Please be lined up BY 10 am or 1 pm (arrive earlier than 10 or 1).
RSVP for the parade! We would like to have some idea of who is attending. Even if you don’t RSVP, you are welcome to simply show up with your palms!
Dan Leaver email@example.com know which time you will be there: 10 am OR 1 pm.
If you cannot come out for the recording you can email photos (no videos please) of your household with your homemade palms (or even the palms of your hands) to John McFall firstname.lastname@example.org by 1 pm Saturday.
Please DO NOT send them to the office email as it is not monitored Fridays after 12 noon.
