We are so thrilled that we can welcome you back to enjoy our Christmas concert! To make that happen, we have developed the following policies, aligned with the federal, provincial, and local health authorities to create a safe environment for all. These policies are subject to change.
GUEST REQUIREMENTS:
PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION IS REQUIRED
For public concerts, Wesley-Knox requires that all patrons show proof that they have received the full vaccine for COVID-19 at least two weeks before the concert date. Please be ready with a photo ID and your proof of vaccination (paper or digital) when you arrive at the concert. Anyone (whatever age or reason) who does not show these documents will not be admitted.
YOU MUST WEAR A MASK
All concertgoers must wear a well-fitting mask (not a scarf) at all times inside the venue.
STAY HOME IF YOU ARE ILL
Stay home if you are sick or have COVID-19 symptoms, have been in contact with someone known to be or suspected to have been infected with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, or if you are subject to a quarantine or isolation order. For ticket credit options, please contact our church office at 519-673-4803.
SANITIZE YOUR HANDS UPON ENTERING THE VENUE
Please use the hand sanitizer provided at the entry door when you come in.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES:
CLEANING PRODUCTS
All cleaning products used have been approved by Health Canada as proven disinfectants against the COVID-19 virus.
HAND SANITIZATION STATIONS
Hand sanitization stations are positioned at the entrances for your use.
IMPROVED INDOOR AIR QUALITY
The performance space is fully aired out the day before the concert. The amount of singing is kept to a minimum.
REDUCED CONTACT EXPERIENCE
All ticket sales are online only. No tickets will be available at the door. Please print your tickets (and your program!) and bring them to the concert.
Paper programs will not be available at the concert—only online. Please print and bring the program with you. Or, to view it digitally, please note that there is no Wi-Fi signal in the church sanctuary and data must be used.
DISTANCED SEATING
In order to maintain a safe distance between patrons and patron groups, every other pew will be roped off to encourage sitting with space between people.
NO INTERMISSION AT THE 2021 CONCERT
To keep contact to a minimum, there will be no intermission at this concert. Washrooms are available for emergencies.
REDUCED AMOUNT OF TIME SINGING AT THE 2021 CONCERT
In keeping with the recommended time limit of 50 minutes of singing at one time, the concert will be slightly shorter, about an hour, but no less engaging or entertaining!
PERFORMER REQUIREMENTS:
For our 2021 concert, to maintain safety for each other and you, our audience, the choir and musicians (including ushers and volunteers) are all fully vaccinated. As well, they are masked and distanced. They will also be performing from up in the choir loft and the side balconies, well beyond the recommended distance between performer and the first row of the audience.
